Coping With Change

How many of you have noticed that when you grow and change for the better your family and or friends can fight it all the way because of simple fear of the unknown?  How many of you have had your own adult kids fight you on you just getting fit or going to the activities you like because they think you are at their adult service some way?  How many of you have had people living with you who you know love you who still shop to cause you not to get fit at the grocery store just because of the simple routine?  It’s interesting how much we have to be willing to let the world around us be different and also to walk right through resistance to grow.  One of the most important things to do is not to talk about it, but rather, take responsibility to control what you are doing in your routine that you know is right for you, then stick to it.  If your family is making you backtrack, that is a very very interesting position.  Not really a supportive one though is it.
